After a recent trip to Florida I was looking into the real estate markets for Florida. Some of the places we visited were Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando and Miami. Miami was a fun place to visit but it seems a little too crazy for a place to consider buying. Great for a 1 week vacation but I had enough of it. Jacksonville was an unusual place. Strange city although they do have an NFL team there which is interesting.
I got a chance to chat with some real estate agents in Orlando about the whole real estate markets in Florida and to get a good overview. It seemed that Orlando was probably the safest area to be in and is more community minded out of the major cities there. We chatted with one agent from http://www.orlando-homesforsale.com/ and they gave us an overview of the entire markets including planning life in a small city with a family. What was also important was knowing all of the activities to participate in and I have to say Orlando is a very dynamic city. It also has plenty of flights in/out of the city going to major destinations.
Out of all the states in America, Florida seems to have stable real estate as it is not as expensive as say stuff you'll find in California and Fla is still in demand within America and worldwide as a tourist destination and a place to settle down or even start a family.
Florida has been fun, it has fantastic weather all year round and it does attract some interesting cool people. Buying a house is starting to seem more like a reality as there are some nice houses and condos that are affordable.
