The nuclear disaster that has taken place in Japan has many around the world wondering if we should stop being dependant on nuclear energy. We have a situation that is repeating both Chernobyl which is like a complete meltdown and now talks are happening that the Japanese government is considering making a full encasement of the damaged reactors which is the equivalent of saying we give up and that we have a full blown crisis on our hands.
Perhaps the worst part of this disaster is the fact that the Japanese government had tried to cover up as much of this disaster as possible. There are rumors circulating that the company that was running the plant had repeatedly failed numerous safety checks and that this place was probably going to have their own problems sometime in the future.
At least they can say look with a massive earthquake and tsunami how could anyone expect anything worse than this?
