Church sign of the times, Route 1 in Portsmouth
Well, it's raining again today. Temperature is fifty-frickin-eight degrees. My hairdresser says we've only had three days of all sun, no rain since May 3. I don't know if that's true, but it sure feels like it. Can't we fire off some sort of cloud piercing weather rocket?
Lots of people at the gym this morning, desperately seeking serotonin.
The garden is weatherbeaten. Our tomato plants have that blight. The cucumber plants are stunted midgets. We got one dinner's worth of peas off the vine before it was exhausted. The lawn is neon green, though.
DIY serotonin enhancement
Eat spinach, pineapple and lobster. Foods to improve mood.
Eat dark chocolate, yeah.
I'm wearing 2 shirts and a sweater on July 8th. There's something wrong with this picture!
I've been eating spinach and taking my vitamin B. Have to have coffee to survive this weather and keep warm. It's just the way it is. So glad I cut ALL my hair off. The humidity and rain are ruthless.
Luckily I'm a recent convert to dark chocolate ; ) Sun is coming ... so they say.

I'm in on the spinach and lobster part, though I'll kill or die for my coffee, thank you.
Cheers.

Very, very funny, Amy! I'll whisper very quietly that I actually like this weather. :<) My friend from Ireland says I have an Irish soul (though he loves the sun).

Sharon, I just got a slightly shorter cut - almost a long bob - and it's nice just off my shoulders.
I too am not giving up coffee.
Nan, you love the 'soft' weather, eh? I just took a little Ayurvedic quiz and found out I have a Pitta constitution - I need cool, dry weather and I should eat lots of greens, and bitter, sweet, astringent things. (Sounds a little dull.)
