In port
Putting the "port" in Portsmouth
Yesterday afternoon Laura and I came out of a fabric store on Penhallow Street, looked down Ceres Street, and saw this big ship in port. (Map)
I can just read "Je Ju" on the stern transom – maybe it's from JeJu, South Korea. Looks like the Korean flag is flying too.

Cool pic!
A friend's office is in one of those buildings just to the right. His windows overlook the three tugs, which now are overshadowed by that freighter. Wow!

Amazing shot. It looks like the freighter is going to back into the Dolphin Striker so the crew can grab a beer.

Cool shot! It must have been high tide. The vantage you captured is great. I've taken similar shots. I usually want to walk closer to the ship but then you lose that great perspective.

Not your typical row boat.....awesome photo, it looks like a movie set.

When we walked out of the store and turned to hustle back to our car (it was so cold!) it was so hugely THERE. The vantage and the late afternoon light were super and my camera was in my bag. Lucky me!

Glad you explained the photo. For a second, given how cold it's been up your way, I thought someone was reenacting a scene from Day After Tomorrow.
Cheers.
