My husband John shared a few photos from recent trips with me and said it was okay to blog 'em. He is a 757 and 767 Captain for American Airlines.
In Venezuala, near Caracas.
A lock in the Panama Canal, as seen from the cockpit.
Landing at PTY, Tocumen International Airport, near Panamá City.
Low tide. Shot from the van window, on the way to the hotel.
Close up of the sign near Caracas.

Oh I understand the meaning of the sign now. That sure is a powerful popcorn whacking Uncle Sam.

I wonder that Chavez is getting at. Venezuela has oil all over the place; it doesn't need biofuels. And we're certainly not trying to buy corn from them.
Good grief, what a nut.
Cheers.
