Goodbye to 'Mom'

Last remembrance of champion horse

NORTH HAMPTON -- Mom's Command, champion New York Triple Crown filly of 1985 and New England Turf Writers' Hall of Famer, was euthanized at Runnymede Farm earlier this month because of infirmities of age.

Mom brought renown to the Fuller family and to the landmark Atlantic Avenue farm where she grazed as a yearling and in retirement.
