I chatted with a friend that scribbled down a simple recipe on a napkin for vegetarian pasta. The ingredients told me this would be a boring dish and healthy but after I made it and tasted it, it was delicious. I was suprised at how good it tasted.
So here we go, I don't have a name for it as my friend told me to try it.
Ingredients:
Regular tomato sauce or paste. Honestly you don't need anything flavoured or spiced
salt
black pepper
chili peppers or flakes
brocoli
zucchini or courget
feta cheese
olive oil
whole wheat pasta fusili
Cooking instructions
Cook your pasta as you normally would.
At the same time you can get a frying pan and put just over 1 table spoon of olive oil at low heat. Cut up brocoli and zucchini and put that in the pan and cook until a nice light golden brown.
Once the pasta is cooked and vegetables, strain the pasta and then add it to the frying pan. After you can add in your pasta sauca about half a jar and add as much feta cheese as you want. I love cheese so I add in quite a bit and stir. Add in some salt maybe a few pinches and same for black pepper and the hot peppers.
This sounds easy and a little basic but it's healthy for you and it really does taste delicious.
